MISSIOn & VISION
At Deradicalize America, we are dedicated to confronting the disinformation and misguided beliefs pervasive in the MAGA movement. We believe in the power of truth and dialogue to bridge divides and restore unity in our nation. Unlike the popular political strategy of ignoring our MAGA neighbors and focusing on independents, we refuse to write off our fellow citizens. Instead, we seek to engage directly with hardcore Trump supporters, challenging their entrenched views with information and compelling content that cuts through the sensationalism-for-profit echo chambers of right-wing media.
WHO ARE WE?
We are grassroots progressives fed up with the proliferation of PACs led by former Republican strategists, profiting from rehabilitating their reputations after fomenting the disillusionment with American democracy that fueled Trump and MAGA. While they are welcome in this struggle, these strategists still believe in the “good ol’ party” that aligns with cynical conservative policies that serve big business and the ultra-rich, perpetuating American oligarchy. Although they’re fighting the monsters they created now, they haven’t recanted; they simply want a less garish, vulgar and autocratic avatar. After Trump is defeated, these gaslighters will pick up where they left off, propagating a government not working for all Americans, inevitably producing the next Trump.
Their policies that promoted income inequality, rule by the minority over the will of the majority, disenfranchisement, business as people, anti-labor, anti-union, culture wars over substantive policy, anti-campaign finance limits, anti-government services, anti-government protections for regular Americans and American communities, anti-civil liberties, weaponized personal responsibility, anti-separation of church and state, guns over people, and war mongering as refined by Nixon and Reagan have been rejected by the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 presidential elections spanning 28 years.
We are tired of blue money funding their ad making due to the lack of comparable PACs on our side. That’s why we’ve launched Deradicalize America – to offer an alternative voice in this political landscape.
